This bookplate is in loving memory of the late Ronald A. Maither and his wife Iona Lamb Maither who were ‘straight-back’ labourers and entrepreneurs all their lives, as were their respective siblings. Both, having to, were very frugal using the Rockefeller ‘Ledger A’ method in tracking their earnings while growing their family and both despised dishonesty and criminality. It is Lyndon Maither, their son, who funded this bookplate.
